Can you recommend some movies/videos?
by OnTheWayOut inan ex-jw meetup group i attended just watchted worlds apart together and the host wants to do this type of thing more often.. i would love to see religulous, but the group would be divided on such a movie.. i suggested the documentary, jesus camp and september dawn.. do you have any suggestions i can pass along?.

What is the JW view of the Ichtus (Fish) christianity symbol?
by james_woods inthe thread about the cross got me to thinking about this - i think i read somewhere that the earliest known christian relic was a mosaic display of the fish symbol - which was taken as a sign of christianity.. has the watchtower ever explained why they avoid the use of this symbol?.
have they ever explained why it is ok for them to use the watchtower as a symbol but not this?.

I HATE THAT FISH!!!!!!!!!
I got into a heated arguement with some 25 year old who almost hit me head on with his car doing 50mph on a DIRT ROAD!!
I got out an and called him every name I knew...
made up a couple also...
as he drove away..... there was that fish Mocking Me....
If I saw that Damn Fish....
He would of Met Jesus that day....... I promise!
